Hello everyone, my name is Kelvin Sekigahama, and I a co-founder of Swish School as well as an alumni at American High School. I played over 3 years on Varsity and 15 years in total. I'm currently attending Santa Clara University, but coaching as well. I've coached for over 6 years and started 4 different basketball programs, and coached 350+ players overall.
One thing that I continuously love about coaching is the connection I can make with the children and the value I am able to add to their lives.
A fun fact about me is that I have pet tortoises. I hope to see you at Swish School this summer!

My name is Dylan Lee, and I am a rising Senior and attending American High School. Currently I have played 3 years of Varsity, and been named to multiple All League teams, and American's MVP award holder. I like playing basketball because of the competitiveness, trust in teamwork, and the energy. basketball is a very passionate sport and takes hard work and dedication for you to get better and succeed. I love coaching because I allow myself to pass down skills that I learned from when i was a kid to the younger generation. Also basketball can teach you many life goals that you will encounter in life like teamwork as i said already, being coachable, and having the right attitude everyday.
The 3 values i stand for is respect the game, dedication, and growth.

Hey everyone! It is great to meet you, I'm currently an upcoming freshman at USC, and have been playing basketball for the past decade. Being apart of American, I've been named as a Team Captain for multiple seasons and I like playing basketball playing basketball because of the competitiveness of the game which fuels me to work hard and stay disciplined. I find that basketball is a great way to escape from the stress that comes with life and truly have fun in a sport that allows freedom and creativity. Now that I’m done with basketball I feel like coaching is a great way to pass down what I’ve learned to other people.
Values I stand for include hard work, always having fun, and being open minded.
Fun fact about myself is I dislocated my hip warming up in practice.

Hey guys! I'm currently a senior, but starting next year will be attending Berkeley, and have been playing at American for the past 3 years. I like coaching basketball since it allows me to give back to the community. Growing up, I was lucky to be surrounded by excellent coaches who not only mentored me in basketball, but also in life. Coaching basketball allows for me to build meaningful connections with those around me, whether it be students or other coaches.
Three values that I stand for are discipline, respect, and perseverance.
Fun fact about me is that I write with my left but shoot with my right hand.

Hey guys! Great to meet everyone, currently I am a rising senior and on the horizon of my 3rd year on Varsity. I have been elected as a Team Captain, and was 1 of 3 players on Varsity as a Freshman! I enjoy playing basketball because of the hard work and discipline required to succeed, along with the fact that the sport can bring people together. A reason I love coaching/being a leader is to spread my knowledge and connect with those with similar interests as me. Although I enjoy being a coach, I recognize that I have much more to learn and improve on.
3 Values I Stand For:
Staying true to yourself
Being open minded
Always looking to improve
Fun Fact: I'm better at golf than basketball
